WLSW: What is Dry Blocking?

Let’s make 2024 our year of ROCKING our knits!

In today’s episode of Knit Talk** we’re taking a look at dry blocking - an alternative to wet blocking that has its place amongst some of your projects!

Watch this week’s episode here: https://youtu.be/NkxQb0MB4II or check it out below!

Do you Fade?

Did you get yourself an Advent yarn kit this past December and don’t quite know what to do with it? I’m wearing my Fadvent shawl in today’s episode and thought I’d pass along a little discount to you, my wonderful subscribers, to help you use up that beautiful Advent sent!

Save 25% off at checkout using FADVENT (all uppercase, no extra spaces before or after).

While I knit up my project with my DK weight advent set, you can adapt it easily to knit it up it with fingering, sport or even worsted weight yarns, depending what you have on hand! It’s all in the weighing of the skeins! I recommend between 480-500g of yarn to complete a shawl of my size.

I should note that you don’t have to use an Advent set. This is a great stash-busting project, too!

The sale runs until 11:59 pm PST on Sunday, January 14th, 2024. This pattern is only available for purchase through Ravelry.
