ROW GAUGE & A NEW PATTERN RELEASE!

Today’s post is packed with fun stuff so be sure to read through to the end!

To get us started: on today’s episode of Knit Talk, we look at changing your row gauge and prioritizing stitch gauge vs. row gauge if they don’t both match the original design!

The Oceansider is LIVE!

The Oceansider sweater is (cough, cough) two years in the making. Not because it’s complicated, but rather because it started out as a holiday knit for myself. I hadn’t planned on publishing it but when I wore it in my very first episode of my Knit Talk podcast, folks got really excited and asked for me to publish it. So here it is, FINALLY!

To celebrate the release of Oceansider, which is hands-down my favorite sweater I’ve ever made myself, I’ve got a 20% discount for my subscribers! You can find the pattern HERE on Ravelry. And use OCEANSIDER20 at checkout to save 20%. This discount code is valid until 11:59pm PDT on Sunday, September 24th. Please be sure the code is applied before you click the checkout button to get that discount!

Yarn for your Oceansider!!

My good friend Heather, owner of Ewe Ewe Yarns who I collaborated with on this sweater, is offering a generous discount to my subscribers when they purchase yarn for the Oceansider!

You can click HERE to save 10% on your order - no coupon code is needed if you follow this link! But if you decide to navigate there on your own through the Ewe Ewe Yarns website, you can enter code OCEANSIDER at checkout to save 10% on your yarn for the Oceansider sweater pattern!

I knit my original version in Heather’s Heathers, 90 Vanilla, which you see front and center in this picture. Heather has 10 awesome heathered yarns (all shown above) along with 25 non-heathered yarns in her Wooly Worsted line up so you’re bound to find a color you love! I can’t wait to see what color you choose!
